During the 2024 Off Season, I was tasked with owning two huge projects as a way to step into more leadership roles within our team. The two things that I was asked to do was develop the look and feel as well as the creative elements for both our 2024 Training Camp and 2024 Free Agency.
For Training Camp, I wanted to utilize our players to excited fans as they were entering in with seeing the faces of the people that they were about to watch. We also started to tease a lot of our upcoming season's elements while paying homage to what we've had in previous seasons as well. All of these designs we're received extremely well and received recognition from even the NFL for executing matchup designs at a high level.
For Free Agency, I wanted to create something that elevated and made the players coming in feel "premium" and so I explored incorporating a gold texture into the photo treatments to break away from the marble that we had been doing a lot at the time in a way to keep reinforcing the value of these new additions to our team. One of the other key components was keeping all of these simple to update as we a lot of the time wouldn't receive much notice and would need to update these quickly.
In addition to these two larger off season initiatives that I led the art direction and design of, I also worked alongside our team in developing our look and feel for the 2024 season. The designs below are some that didn't make the cut but some made their way into other designs and other elements of our season. Beyond proud of what I was able to create and of the reception that all of it received. For the designs and banners to be loved by our fans and to be praised by the NFL is all that I could have hoped for.
